No. It would not work at all with MadWifi.

MadWifi was unstable with respect to rate. It would occasionally drop to
to 1mb/sec. Furthermore, it always degraded with time. It would start at
36mbs and eventually fall to 6mbs within a few hours.
Ndiswrapper provides a consistent speed at 48-54mbs.
