HP laserjet 1000 on FC4

[Distribution Lists]

I've seen these docs @ linuxprinting.org, they didn't work either.
In fact I shouldn't need to do that, as FC3 and CUPS work seemlessly with
the Laserjet 1000. Any ideas with FC4 won't play with my printer?
