The server needs a bypass switch if the main server goes down. You will
have to have the bypass directly connected with the mail server, and
switch when the main goes off, then they have to log into their mail to
retrieve it on the server. You could also try having a miniature
version of the main server's setup on the mail server, and any other
servers, that allow them to connect to them independently.
