MimeDefang (http://www.mimedefang.org/) allows a simple but
comprehensive approach. It runs as a sendmail milter which allows
rejection based on the scan results before accepting at the
smtp level and acts as a wrapper for your choices of scanners
and other tests. Spamassassin and clamav are good starting points - I'd
suggest that the OP use it to add clamav to the Kaspersky scan.
I don't think anything but a sendmail milter can run the scans
at the right time during the smtp conversation to reject based
on content without having to construct a bounce message. (Viruses
should be silently dropped since there is a near 100% chance that
the sender is forged, but the sender deserves a polite rejection
notice about other content filtering choices).
