Hi all,

I have still trouble with my networking and Fedora. I hoped FC4 would

So, my Intel 915GEV m/b ships with a Marvel Yukon 88E8050 PCI Express
Gigabit Ethernet Controller (SK98LIN driver).

It has been a few months but I did get the ethernet controller on an Asus P5GD2 mother board working. It had a Marvel 88e8053 chip set which appears to be similar to yours.

I downloaded the driver from
http://www.syskonnect.com/syskonnect/support/driver/zip/linux

The file I downloaded was Install-8_13.tar. They may have upgraded that
by now.

To get this to build I had to setup the following link:

ln -s /lib/modules/"VERSION OF YOUR KERNEL"/build /usr/src/linux

This was under FC3.

After the link was in place the build worked just fine and I had the on
board network interface working.

Good luck.
