CD and DVD I/O issue

Yes, you are right. That's exactly it. The CD is a music CD, plays 
fine. No problem with install CD's. Linux ext3 does not recognize 
the foreign audio CD file system. Same for the DVD. 

So, PROBLEM SOLVED. I'll just ignore the "error" message 
during bootup.
