Partimage backup - determining partition image size

I posted this question to the partimage forum a
month ago and have got no response.  There are a
lot of knowlegable people on this list and since
partimage will run under Fedora, I thought I would
try here.


The documentation says that for a restore you must 
allocate a partition at least as big as the original 
partition. 

Question: Is there a way from the partimage backup 
file to determine how big the target partition needs 
to be?
