Thunderbird 1.0 rpm update?

Go to fedorafaq.org and read the faq. I've had nothing but good
experiences with using their yum.conf file. You can try it and see
if you like it - if not, you can always go back to the default yum
configuration - their instructions are clear and simple. My
recollection is that their repositories include one called fedora
test, which is where it's likely that pre-release versions of
software are included - as I recall, I used yum upgrade
thunderbird to install 1.0 - <disclaimer> I don't take
responsibility for my memory, as the process is out of my control
<end disclaimer> I may have just installed 1.0 withoug yum - to
answer your question on whether that screws up the normal upgrade
process, my experience has been no, though if you upgrade
something manually, it may take awhile for the 'normal upgrade
process' to catch up to your rpms.
