You have a bind running where the dhcp dynamically update the zone
file(s)? I guess not.
$ cat /etc/dhcpd.conf
authoritative;
ddns-update-style none;
subnet 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
option routers 192.168.1.1;
option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
option domain-name "tanashi.local";
option domain-name-servers <whatever IP>;
default-lease-time 21600;
max-lease-time 43200;
host me-the-server {
hardware ethernet 00:e0:59:22:1e:a7;
fixed-address 192.168.1.1;
}
pool {
range 192.168.1.3 192.168.1.10;
}
}
Take above as a working example.
