mounting nfs directory using autofs

you have written dad in this line where it is dadlx

 dad   -rw,soft,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192   dadlx:/home/sbrown

you can replace dad with * .

*   -rw,soft,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192   dadlx:/home/sbrown

I think that should solve ur problem.
