RHN Alert Icon & Up2Date not syncing

What I am seeing now is "IOError: Not a gzipped file". It looks like it's trying to process helix-player-1.0.3-3.fc3, and then up2date just hangs.

Anyone else having trouble just getting up2date to download the list of potential updates?
