FC3 max memory

Yep, already do this. Even if rhgb actually worked, I'd still turn it 
off. By the way, does anyone have trouble with rhgb in RHEL4-AS? rhgb on 
causes kernel crash. rhgb off causes crash while "firstboot" is enabled. 
That causes a problem for fresh installs. Yuck.

Excellent link. However, we are moving to the Quadro FX3000 as soon as I 
get this 8GB memory problem fixed. I will try the stock Nvidia driver, 
as they claim good 2.6 kernel support. If we still have problems I'll try 
those patches.

I've narrowed down the memory error (kernel panic) to a possible failure 
in one of the memory slots. The memory works perfect in another system, 
and fresh installs bomb with the same kernel panic, only when dimm slots 
CPU2-3&4 are populated. I'm contacting Tyan support for more info.
