httpd.conf in fedora

I've followed the instructions in /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf and
change the two bits I usually edit http.conf:

DocumentRoot "/mnt/SharedFiles/www"

<Directory "/mnt/SharedFiles/www">

It ain't worked though - what have I forgotten, yes I restarted the
service.
