resizing partitions for FC3 install..

hi...

to all you FC users/gurus....

i'm doing an install of FC3 over a RH/FC system. i'd like to maintain my
basic partition structure... although i'm not sure it's the best. (it
probably isn't.)

when i go through the FC3 install process, it gets to a point where it says
the '/' needs more space, and then the process dies. i have no idea as to
how to increase the '/' mount/partition size. or should i simplt reinstall
using different partitions altogther, and if i do, what should the
partitions/sizes be that i use?
