fedora - booting up without a monitor

hi...

for all who may run in to this issue.

in the /etc/grub.conf file, i was able to add a line before the display...
vga=0

and it seemed to work.

i can now run FC3 without a monitor and with no problems.

didn't work.

the issue i'm seeing seems to point directly to the system not booting up if
the monitor is not attached!!!!

i plug the monitor in.. the server boots.. i unplug the monitor.. the server
stops/hangs during the boot process...

1) when booting, edit the kernel line and add your parameter
or,
2) edit /etc/grub.conf and add the parameter to the kernel line
