phpMyAdmin installation problem

and to answer your question (sorry) yes I set up the control user in
mysql and when i type mysqladmin i receive this:

# mysqladmin
mysqladmin  Ver 8.23 Distrib 3.23.58, for redhat-linux-gnu on i386
.....

so it is also working
