I think the problem is that your yum configuration is set up to perform 
GPG checks of packages before installing them, but you have not set up 
the public keys.

Do this:
# rpm --import /usr/share/doc/fedora-release-*/RPM-GPG-KEY*

and then try yum again.

You might also want to do "yum update" at some point when you can leave 
the machine to download lots of updates.
