How to install the Nvidia kernel module to the old kernel

Unfortunately the nvidia install program can only work with the booted kernel
because it must have  libGL file specific for a kernel. Since this library
is setup in the /usr/lib directory it cannot have multiple libGL.so.1 files
to satisfy multiple kernels.
