Initial load failure - FC3

I'm trying to load FC3 on a new custom box.  When I load the initial CD
it let's me get past the initial boot screen, gives me a Welcome to
Fedora Core on a blue screen and then panics.  I know the box works
because I had Win2000 Pro loaded on it.

Any ideas?

My hardware configuration is:

Intel D865GLCL Motherboard
Intel 2.8GHz Pentium
2GB RAM
Maxtor 300GB SATA drive
