Problem with printer on parallel port.

I've got the same problem and have had it for months now.  It seems as
though FC3 doesn't support parallel port printers* ! The older kernels
2.6.9-1.747 etc. supported them fine, but the newer ones do not. 

* I am being facetious here.  FC3 does support them, there is a bug
somewhere.
