Terminal problem with FC3 in X, but works fine in text terminal.

Let me guess. You're using gnome-terminal. This sounds like a known
issue:

Options include using certain Rawhide RPMs, fiddling with the terminfo
database, or trying to run
TERM=linux $program-name
TERM=vt100 $program-name
(which may turn off some of the keys).

But personally, I've used Applications menu (the Start Menu-a-like) ->
Preferences -> More Preferences -> Preferred Applications -> Terminal to
select KDE Konsole as my preferred terminal. With a bit of fiddling, it
can be made to look and feel pretty similar to gnome-terminal.
