Since lirc.x86_64 0:0.7.1-1 is (probably) from Fedora Extras and
lirc-0.6.6-4.1.fc3.rf is from RPMforge (Dag et al), I wouldn't hold your
breath waiting for a fix for this. You'll need to remove the conflicting
package if you want to install the update.
