Mouse pointer blinks

Hello,

There is a disturbing visual problem in Gnome for me, mouse pointer
blinks when it is a sand clock and is turning or the sand is falling
down. In other case it moves smoothly. I use Gnome 2.8, Bluecurve theme,
NVIDIA drivers, PS/2 optical mouse and I didn't made a clean
Installation of /home folder, but it occurs the same when I login with
root user.
