NM is designed for multiple interfaces. The issue here is multiple
configurations which is handled with network profiles.
Furthermore, NM is STILL experimental IMO. The latest versions (which
might improve things) require DBus 31. To the best of my knowledge, it
still requires running Bind and only works on a dynamic interface.
