Font Problems......
If you go to the Free type site, they tell you that some binaries of the free 
type libraries are compiled without some of the kerning hints due to 
possibilities of some copyright stuff involving the true type. I compilied my 
own copy of the free type package with these hints turned on, and my true 
type fonts are right on target with the kerning. I don't know if the FC free 
type package is compiled without the kerning hints, but once I compiled my 
own package, it picked the spacing (kerning) and now my fonts (I have over 
three hundred installed) look and pring just as they should.
