I have a Sony laptop and never experienced this until this past
week. I use both a USB mouse and USB keyboard and have found that
the disappearing mouse problem only surfaces when I plug the mouse
into the USB bus available on keyboard. If I plug both the mouse
and keyboard directly into laptop the problem doesn't occur. I
suspect some piece of software has been changed recently but
haven't had the time to try and track it down.
Logitech Keyboard: Y-BC9
Logitech Wheel Mouse: M-BE58
