Need some help for ALSA driver installation for Intel8x0 card

Hi,

I am able to install ALSA driver in my system.
But some /etc/conf.modules or /etc/modules.conf file
need to b modified.
But in my system, there are no such kind of files in
/etc directory.
ANy help in this matter?
