iptables -L

should show up your ports on the INPUT chain

also run

tcpdump

on your box, and see if traffic is coming in on those ports; and if it
is, what happens to it.  If your local firewall is rejecting it it is
likely to throw off an ICMP message about the destination being
administratively prohibited.
