Assuming data is being written !
and the DVD device is known /dev/scd?

To create and burn iso DVD of a "Rockridge" directory structure

growisofs -Z /dev/scd? -R dir_name

OR for a prebuilt iso image

growisofs -Z /dev/scd?=file.iso
