Another one to look at is SMEserver from
http://www.contribs.org.   This distribution has gone though
a long dry spell without much activity, but the beta
of version 7 looks very promising.  It is based on Centos4
with all administration done through a simple web interface.
It can be configured as a firewall/gateway only or can
also provide email/web/ftp and samba shared file services.
Other than it's current beta status, it's probably the
right answer for the people with all those questions
about mail servers too since it works out of the box.
