Error message during "yum update"

The usual cause of this sort of thing is when a new version of a package 
includes a file/directory/symlink at some location (/usr/bin/install-mh 
in this case) and the thing already at that location (perhaps in an 
older version of the package) is of a different type, e.g. a directory 
instead of a file.

Try removing the nmh package and then reinstalling it using yum.
