Another reasonable approach is to use a gmail.com account to subscribe
and set the gmail options to allow pop downloads and to archive as
downloaded. There are some other handy options to tag the messages
too.   Then, whenever you have time to read, tell your favorite
pop client to receive, and you can delete as you read through or
decide from the subject to skip.   You can do this from different
locations or to a laptop for offline reading - the only catch is
that since it is pop, you have to read at the location you downloaded
or push it to an imap server for access elsewhere.  If, after you have
deleted your copy of something, you want to go back and review it, you
can still fire up the web interface to gmail and find the saved copy
easily with the search function.
