Upgradation problem:ethereal

You should try the version in the FC3 updates-released repository, which 
fixes a nuumber of security issues and possibly this problem too.

# yum update ethereal

Or get the RPM from 
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/3/i386/
