fstab-sync eats manual entries in fstab

fstab-sync seems to be eating entries I added manually to fstab. It is
also removing the mount points. The entries do not contain the keyword
"managed".

I've read the man page, which tells me there's this sphagetti bowl of
files that manage HAL. I have yet to find any documentation on how to
edit those files.
