FC4 - KVM mouse needing reset

I don't know about a USB KVM switch but with a PS/2 style KVM switch you 
can solve the mouse problem by adding the following to the "kernel" line 
in grub.conf "psmouse.proto=imps"

In my case my grub configuration looks like:

title Fedora Core (2.6.12-1.1381_FC3)
        root (hd0,0)
        kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.12-1.1381_FC3 ro root=LABEL=/ 
psmouse.proto=imps rhgb quiet
