Try setting you systems IP address to 192.168.1.251.  Sounds like youo
are trying to set a systems IP address to the same IP as on the remote
power switch.  The 192.168.1.250 address appears to be what is assigned
to the remote power switch.  Actually if you temporarily set a system up
with 192.168.1.251 you should be able to reconfigure your remote power
switches IP address to something you can use on your LAN.
