Dear LINUX and KERNEL Experts,

I have a around 10 normal PC with Fedora Core 3 running.
There is the kernel kernel-2.6.9-1.667 installed and running.

For the development from the IMS Project in our Company in Siemens, I must add 5000 virtual IPv6 Addresses at each of this PCs.
But this is not possible.
It stopped after around 4080 entries for inet6.
The error is "SIOCSIFADDR: Cannot allocate memory".
I used for this following command: ifconfig eth0 inet6 add <inet6-address>/<mask>
I tried also this with the command "ip ..."

On a SuSE 9.0 with the Kernel Version 2.4.21-297-default it is possible to enter more than 20000 IPv6 Addresses.

Do you know, that I should change?
Do you know, which kernel Parameter (produce the Kernel by myself) I must change for this?

Thanks for your help!!
