I had to search for google on this one. Fortunately, nothing regarding a 
sellout of any kind was found. I did find an interesting article 
regarding Linux, Mosaic (freeware what then became Netscape), the 
Wordperfect 6 for Linux which was capable of running Windows 3.1 apps. I 
believe the article is from 1997 timeframe though.
