Although I have been using Fedora for almost a year now, I have had
little reason to get too familiar with the command line. Noe that I
feel like expanding my knowedge, I am trying to get used to the
command line.

When I do ls, I can see a list of files. If there is a file, say
phonenumbers.xls, that I want to open, but do not know what program
opens it, how can I do the equivelent of clicking on it, so that it
opens in the default program for it's type? Even for files that I do
know what program to use, it would make life easier. Thanks all in
advance for your replies.
