Headphone

Hi all

Does anyone know which slider represents the headphone output in kmix or
alsamixer?

Before my conversion to the dark side :) plugging in a headphone automatically
mutes the speakers and turns on the headphone jack, now when I plug-in the
headphone nothing happens and no sound is audible in the headphones.

The muting/unmuting was not hardware switching like you see in hifi chains but
was the m$('( operating system switching on the headphones and turning of the
speakers. I know this for fact since there always was a delay of 2 seconds.

Some more information: the headphone jack is located on the front of the
computer whereas the soundcard is located.... at the back.

With kind regards

Andy
