Most of the information comes from ATI, nVidia, articles and from
talking for hours with Toshiba, Fujitsu and Dell techies. Don't worry,
most of the salespeople and even a lot the vendor's techies are ignorami
(that's a plural noun, not a first person verb) when it comes to
revealing graphics card specs.
