How to activate php5 in apache2?

Hi.
php scripts appear as text on  apache2 with LoadModule php5_module 
modules/libphp5.so in both /etch/httpd/conf.d/php.conf and 
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf.
php is installed, and I chose these packages during install. It does not 
work with LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so in only one of the 
config files either.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could push me in the right direction 
here.
