yum problem

Hello everybody!
I wanted to install the nvidia video drivers from livna.
I used the following command:
yum install kernel-module-nvidia-$(uname -r)

Here is the yum output:

The reason I killed yum was that after it reached the last MD read line,
it ran about 2 hours, consuming all the time about 80% of the system
memory and doing nothing.

My system is Fedora Core 3, fully updated. 

What could be the problem?
