Unknown network activity every 5 minutes

Hi,

> Where is network activity logged?  If it isn't currently being logged, what
> actions do I take to log this kind of activity?  What process might be doing

Go to the system manager and check for zombie processes - I found one
like that last night after noticing a lot of network activity despite
being behind my routers firewall. Killed it and everything is happy
again.
