Funny, hah? all linux developers and products will depend on a little
company...
some facts:
-all microsoft developers couldn't confront all virus developers
capacities, creativity and persistance.
-thats why antivirus companies find a big market.
-if microsoft improves his filesystem security model (and other modules)
viruses could dissappear(well, not that much, but a lot of)!
-and ms is working on its winfs, and its applications security. good for
microsoft.
-symantec, among others, advised this risk, so they focused on other
menaces, like internet, backups, spam, parental control, etc. They must
not depend on virus' market.
-other companies must make desperate attempts to survive.
