wireless connection

I can't make the wireless connection in my laptop
eventhough it seems to be detected here is the dmesg
for the wireless adapter:

The device is listed under
system-config-network->hardware tab as eth1 but no on
the devices.

If I try to edit the device on the hardware tab
assigning the right irq 5 and mem fafef000-fafeffff
range this is what I get:
