In /var/log/dmesg, at the message
IRQ 11 nobody cared
there is the mention try 'irqpoll'

The result on Toshiba Satellite M40 135FR at grub line
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.13-1.1532_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet irqpoll

IRQ 11 is still announced as disabled
but
wifi, ethernet are working.

/var/log/dmesg mentions that using irqpoll may
result in performance not optimal.
