Program to edit video DVDs

Meanwhile, I learned that there is a small freeware tool, called DVD
Shrink, which helps a lot with the edition of video DVDs. DVD Shrink
runs natively on MS Windows, but it can also run on Linux through Wine
or CrossOver Office.
