Over the past year a new class of DVD writers, super-multi, have
appeared. These drives have the ability to write to DVD-RAM, as well
as the other, better known, media. More recent, high-end, drives
incorporate of ability of writing to the various media types as well
as provide disc labeling (Lightscribe).
