Choose 'Printing' from the Desktop->Administration menu.  The current
Fedora Core printing administration program generates PPDs for
printers on demand from the foomatic database, so you need to use that
program (system-config-printer) to set up printers from foomatic.

Depending on how much tweaking you need to do, quite possibly. :-(

Issues like this with the current Fedora Core printing system are
known about, and work is underway to make things better.
